THE HEALING POWER OF MUSIC

Generation Thrive, Golden State Entertainment, and Dope Era hosted a Black History Month Celebration for male educators. The event aimed to highlight the healing power of music, fostering connections, support, and understanding among educators in the Bay Area. This celebration included a fireside chat with Bay Area rapper and community activist, Mistah Fab, and Chicago rapper, songwriter, and humanitarian, Rhymefest followed by a basketball clinic with the Golden State Basketball Academy.

This event addressed the intersectionality of emotional and mental health and consisted of a fireside chat with Bay Area rapper and community activist, Mistah F.A.B., alongside Emotional Intelligence Performance Coach and Oakland native, DB Bedford. Educators had the opportunity to unlock and master vital skills of emotional intelligence to better understand themselves and others.

It consisted of a fireside chat with Bay Area rapper and community activist, Mistah Fab, alongside Bay Area artist and muralist, Timothy B, and the Official DJ of the Golden State Warriors, DJ D Sharp. Guest also participated in a workshop to design the first edition of Minds Right merchandise.

Participants learned how to create an authentic and captivating personal brand while discovering techniques for building a robust professional network. Attendees engaged in a dynamic discussion with Bay Area rapper and community activist Mistah Fab alongside Bay Area rapper, LaRussell. Following the discussion, UNTOLD Media offered a personal branding workshop to help educators elevate their strategies. UNTOLD Media is a Bay Area non-profit organization that empowers individuals and organizations to craft impactful brands.
