JAMES BALDWIN 100TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

In August of 2024, Rhymefest commemorated the legacy of James Baldwin at his 100th Birthday Celebration at the New York Public Library’s Schomburg Center. He spoke with literary expert Yahdon Israel about Baldwin’s legacy and impact, followed by a performance of songs from his project James & Nikki: A Conversation there, and at the Lincoln Center performing arts hub.
